Photo Safari in Downtown Spartanburg

Learn the art of NIGHT TIME photography with DSLR cameras.  This class is geared for the changeable lens cameras like Nikon D40/D80/D300, Canon Digital Rebel, Xt'x, XTi's, 20D/30D/40D and Pentax K10, K20, K100 and K110's.  Using ISO, noise reduction, long shutter and filter techniques will all be covered.  Lens use and selection and use will also be covered.  About 45 minutes will be spent in classroom environment.  Walking time is expected to be 2 or 3 hours at least.
Attendees MUST have with them on Safari:
DSLR Camera
Sturdy Tripod
Cable release or remote control
Extra battery

Recommended to have, but not necessary:
Fixed aperture lens
Comfortable shoes
Star or Cross Screen filter
ND filter or filters

Starting and Using Darkroom Web Edition Software
Learn how to use the Darkroom Web Edition Software that you can get by signing up for this class.  You will learn the basics of using this powerful software for cropping, edition and some special effects, along with that; you will learn how to set up and run a web based photo proofing and e-commerce web site for your photo business.  Small group sessions only, limited to 5 at a time.
Cost is $ 15.00 and includes the Darkroom Web Edition software.
Class runs about  2 hours.

6 Basic Things in PhotoShop.   The basic use of PhotoShop and PhotoShop Elements programs, with most emphasis on using layers and the layer tools.  Starts you through a simple cut and paste project with explanations of layers and a few of the many the filters and tools used. You should have some knowledge of your version of Photoshop.  All demonstration.
Cost is $ 15.00
per person.

Basic Digital Camera Use.   The basic use of most digital "point and Shoot" cameras.  Discusses the camera options, controls, basic operational skills of using the camera.  This class will cover individual camera brands in depth and computer software they use.  If you're a beginner you need this class to get better pictures, and the most out of your computer.   First part of class is basic camera use, second part is using the software.
Cost is $ 20.00
per person

Basic SLR Camera Use
Learn the basic techniques of SLR photography. Basic operation, shutters, apertures, ISO and higher camera techniques that you can use with almost any SLR cameras.  Just bring any SLR (Interchangeable Lens Camera) and you desire to learn.  If you're a beginner you need this class. 
Cost is $60.00
per person
Class lasts no less than 2 hours per night for 3 nights.
