We don't stock a lot of these replacement parts at this time. This is the most common part for us to repair. This is the assembly that holds the quick release plate onto the tripods. This is also called the flip plate, or vertical riser, it is available in several styles for the U5500/6600; the U8000/9000; the U212DLX and the Compact XL/Compact XL, 450G, 500G, 500GFL, 800G tripods.

We do not stock all models and cannot get parts for all models made. Some parts are of limited supply, so large orders may not be able to be filled completely. We will do our best to fill as many orders as possible.

Foam and Damper Replacement Kit

Purchase this kit with all the necessary instructions to clean out and replace the old sticky, gooey old damper and light seal foam. Five different thicknesses of foam are included to replace the mirror damper and film door seals on most older cameras that use foam light seal. Enough material in each kit to replace the seals in at least 5 or 6 cameras, if not more. All you need is simple tools like: tweezers, cotton swaps, tooth picks and denatured alcohol.

There are three versions: Plain film door which is the back only; it includes the control buttons, and film guides (shown at right). Pressure plate is included, but the connecting ribbon wire and ribbon protective cover are not and must be taken from old back.

There are two versions of the N80QD back; Version A the QD film door with one dial; and Version B the QD film door with two dials. These backs are not interchangeable and do not come with any of the pressure plate, dials, screws or QD parts! These must be taken from the old back.
