We make prints from all types of slides and transparencies. We can easily work from 110, 126, 127 & 35mm – 2x2 inch slides, 120/220 medium format (645, 6x6, 6x7 and 6x9) transparency sizes, as well as many of the older types of sheet films as well. We print our photographs on RA-4 chemical process photo paper, not inkjet, so our print will have the traditional look and feel of real photographs, and the longevity of real photographs. Prices vary by size of original and size of print made, call for details.
We can make prints from tiny locket sized photos, to 4x6 proofs, 5x7 and 8x10 size enlargement and even posters up to 12x18, 20x30 and 30x40 sizes. These are not all the sizes, but just a few. Do you need a custom sized print? We do that too! Just give us the file or print and the final dimensions and we can tell you if your file or print can be enlarged that much.
KODAK RA4 Chemical Process Papers provide exceptional image stability. Whether your store your prints in albums, shoeboxes, or frames, advanced emulsion technology ensures the bright, sharp colors of KODAK Papers will last for generations. The thicker paper base of Royal Generations will withstand handling and will not bend or dog-ear as readily as less expensive, thinner papers. Kodak claims these papers have a 200 year "cool, dry and dark storage life"
Paper Types
These papers types are available from all enlargements made from any negatives.
Glossy F the traditional "shiny" print surface:
Matte N Surface a pearl or flat surface:
-
Preferred for “old” photos since it imparts and older look and feel to the photos.
-
Best for when you are handling prints and fingerprints may be a problem.
-
Bad because it may make prints look less sharp.
-
Though, not as likely to stick to glass or have Newton rings when framed.
Do you have bad hair, closed eyes or other defects in your photos?
We can digitally remove those imperfections and give you photographs (genuine photographic, chemical process paper photographs) of your corrected images. Plus if you need reprints the corrected images can be saved on a DVD or CD for use later instead of having all the work done again (and paying for it). Prices are reasonable.
Do you have large quantities of 35mm slides to be scanned?
We offer a shoebox special for bulk scanning of slides. Call us at 864-583-6835 or see our Shoebox Scanning page for more details.
